The project was developed in collaboration with photographer Alexander Khimushin, whose work is focused on documenting Indigenous peoples and cultures around the world. Permission to use his photographs was granted for this academic project
The visual design and interactive experience were developed around the photography. Original digital illustrations were created on an iPad to complement the photographs and visually represent traditional dwellings, clothing, landscapes, and cultural environments featured throughout the story
